Right, because I happen to be listening to him and because he happens to be one of my favorite artists and an idol, i shall share with you...STEVE VAI! I guess you could say he's a...instrumental guitarist...a metal type of sound but really an all around kind of guy. Because you got funky songs like The Animal and jazzy stuff like Tender Surrender and MUCH MUCH MORE FOR ONLY 19.99!!! haha just kidding..anyway. The man is a virtuoso, so go check him out if youre bored. Recommended songs to find on Kazaa are...
"Tender Surrender" "The Animal" "For The Love of God" "The Audience is Listening" "Eugene's Trickbag" <--not really a song, just like...a quick shred so if you dont like it dont think the other songs are like it because they arent at all.
More recommended artists to come!

Well I don't have any particular artist that I would recommend but I know of plenty of bands you might wanna check out: Smashing Pumkins- they're on my top 3 list of favorites from all time Tool/A Perfect Circle- if ya like mellow take me away music (hehe its like getting high without the smoke) NIN- if ur into the dark stuff Tori Amos- i don't recommend this if ur a guy but it makes for great bubble bath music the Distillers- w00t w00t nuttin like some gritty but meaningful punk and thats all folks!

I love Jason Becker, but that is an artist to be recommended another day. Todays artist is none other than...Led Zeppelin. They might be from a time none of us know about...but they still rock my socks. Whoever says oldies suck is just too stupid to understand and appreciate the music for the time it was made in. And because Led Zeppelin is from the 70's you'll find a lot of hippieness in their music, but it gives it a nice sound if youre into it. But they got some variety in their songs too, they've also got Black Dog which is a bit of a harder sound, and of course the most famous Stairway to Heaven. Recommended Songs: Stairway to Heave Black Dog Moby Dick Over the Hills

Todays recommended artist of mine:
Amorphis- Finnish melodic death metal
recommended songs: Black Winter Day Light My Fire (The Doors cover) My Kantele (acoustic reprise) Elegy Greed Summer's End Goddess (Of The Sad Man) Alone
these songs are in chronological order, the harder you wanna go, the older you wanna go, the more melodic, the newer you go. either way they are still impossibbly badass

ok, right now im listening to Yngwie Malmsteen so he gets to be the recommended artist for today. The man has a classical music type of feeling to his songs. You could say he's...neoclassical...there's some clip flying around Kazaa of him playing Beethoven's 5th...beautiful, it makes me happy Anyway, some say he's the fastest player, but i would put my money on Michael Angelo maybe. eh, theres just too many. Yngwie has doen music with vocals but i like the songs of just him on his guitar better, but either way, chck both sides of his music out and see what you like better. Recommended songs: "Black Star" <---mmmm, yummy "Fire and Ice" "Rising Force" "Disciples of Hell" peesh
